Food

Food is an important part of camp life and one of the ways we build community together.

Breakfast & Lunch

Please bring your own breakfasts, lunches, snacks and any special foods you like to have during the day. Many people enjoy eating together, so feel free to bring food that can be shared around the communal tables if you wish.

There are no food stalls on site, but there are plenty of nearby shops, including an on-site farm shop for stocking up throughout the week.

Evening Meals

Centred around a shared community kitchen, we'll come together to create nourishing vegan and vegetarian meals. We'll provide an equipped kitchen along with spices, herbs, oils and other basic ingredients to support the process.

You're warmly invited to bring ingredients to contribute, share recipes and ideas, or simply join in with whatever is being created. Some meals may emerge from careful planning, while others will grow more spontaneously through collective inspiration.

Whether you'd like to cook, chop vegetables, wash up, help organise ingredients, or simply enjoy sharing food around the table, there are many ways to take part. Equally, if you prefer to prepare your own meals, whether because of dietary needs, personal preference, or simply because it feels right for you, you're very welcome to do so.

We see food not just as nourishment, but as an opportunity to connect, collaborate and build community together. The shared kitchen is an open invitation rather than an expectation, and we hope everyone finds a way of eating that feels comfortable and enjoyable for them.

Drinks

A large hot water urn will be available throughout camp, along with a simple selection of teas and coffee.
